YallaDine

Privacy Policy

14 July 2026

This policy explains what YallaDine (yalladine.com), operated by Tech Serenity IT, collects and how it is used.

1. What we collect

Restaurant owners: your email address, restaurant profile (names, descriptions, addresses, branches, coordinates, phone numbers), menus, and uploaded images.

Diners and visitors: no account is required. Ratings are stored with a one-way hash of a random device identifier and of the network address — we cannot identify you from them. Page views and QR scans are recorded with coarse location only (country and city).

2. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage for: your owner session token, a random device identifier (used to allow one rating per restaurant), and your theme preference. Public pages that show advertising may allow Google AdSense to set its own cookies; see Google's privacy policies for details.

3. How we use information

To operate the service: hosting menus and restaurant pages, sending one-time sign-in codes by email, preventing abuse (rate limiting), and producing aggregate statistics such as scan counts and trends by area. We do not sell personal data.

4. AI processing

Uploaded menu files are processed by AI models running on our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) solely to extract menu sections, dishes, and prices for your review. Uploaded files remain stored for your account.

5. Where data lives

Data is stored and served on Cloudflare's global network and encrypted in transit. Emails are sent through Cloudflare's email service.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform (Cloudflare for hosting/storage/AI, Google for advertising on public pages) and where required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

Owner data is kept while the account is active. To delete your restaurant and associated data, email [email protected] from the account's email address.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
